Chalet Jana

Chalet Jana was built with the aim of providing accommodation for families with children or groups of friends who would like to enjoy time together in a chalet which offers more than just classic mountain accommodation.

The chalet is located next to our chalet Petra, but still closer to the slope.

As with chalet Petra, our goal was to provide accommodation which would leave an enchanting impression on our guests. Chalet Jana is built from Canadian cedar and its intense smell will captivate you as soon as you enter the chalet. The chalet interior is equipped with furniture made by carpenters and corresponds with the surrounding mountain environment. A combination of glass, stone and wood gives the chalet both an airy and cozy atmosphere. The chalet provides corners for all age categories, whether for the smallest visitors, who can use the children’s room full of games, table football, darts and a TV with a DVD player, a tiled furnace with a fireplace, where everyone will enjoy relaxing after a demanding day in the mountains, or book-lovers can tuck themselves away in the reading corner with its view of the surrounding hills. For those who like Wellness, there is a Finnish sauna with a view of the Krkonoše forests prepared.

The chalet is exceptional with its large social room, where most of the day together takes place. A spacious kitchen offers: an oven, hotplate, coffee machine, hand mixer, juicer, microwave oven, Sodastream and a lot of other equipment which you will be able to use when cooking your favourite dishes. In the living-room area, there is a TV with satellite, comfortable seating and a fireplace with space to lie down.

The chalet offers accommodation for up to 14 people in four bedrooms with two beds. One bedroom has access to a divided attic which provides fairytale slumber for up to 6 children or adults. On the upper floor, there are two bathrooms in total, each with a shower.

Chalet Jana offers summer seating on a sunny terrace with a stone grill and a cooking hole where you can roast sausages or cook a real kettle goulash.

The Velká Úpa ski compound

This is a smaller compound, but it has a slope with a high vertical drop, chairlift and children’s pass for the smallest beginners. This slope is located on the Portášky hill and within approx. 100m walking distance from the Petra cabin lodging.

Černá Hora ski compound

Černá hora is a compound not only for experienced skiers. The large children’s LIVE park Formanky locality can be found in close proximity to the main slopes. Equipped with mobile carpets and educational aids, LIVE park provides ideal facilities for skiing lessons held by the Ski Resort Live official school.
